near by... whitegate farm
Whitegate farm is situated in an ideal location, as it is close to near by towns cannock, wolverhampton, stafford, Telford and great motorway access to M6 J12 and M54 J3, however you will need a car to be able to get about. There is so much in the area to to do and we are one of the nearest Campsites to Weston Park, so ideal place to stay if visiting here. To name a few great places to visit we have firstly cannock chase, an ideal place for families to walk, bike or do activities. If you like horse riding there is a great trekking centre located on Cannock chase, tried and tested and well worth booking. Cinemas, ice skating, bowling all can be found in local town of telford and even a great indoor shopping centre, with plenty of restaurants.
On our door step we have many pubs to name a few...'Hartley Arms' in Wheaton Aston, if you love walking put your wellingtons on and you can take a stroll on the public footpaths through the fields to get to it. A short drive one mile up the road to the 'Bradford Arms' at Ivetsey bank or even closer a fabulous Indian restaurant Cafe India and they will deliver to the campsite. Also the Swan Whiston, is a lovely country pub, serving home cooked food...ideal for families and is a short drive away in the village of Whiston, not far from Penkridge, but worth eating here.
If you need a shop for bread, milk and much more there is a fuel station/small shop at Ivetsey bank and then drive a bit further to Wheaton Aston Village there is two fully stocked convenience stores and one with a post office.

Well worth a visit and so easy to get to from the campsite.
